High School Students

High School Graduate Pre-Enrollment Scholarship

If you are a senior in high school in Alachua or the surrounding counties, you are eligible to apply for a $1,000.00 scholarship. The application deadline is May 15, 2020. A written essay is required and students must submit required referrals and high school transcripts. There are (2) scholarships available to each high school in Alachua and surrounding counties. These scholarships are awarded once a year between May and August of the graduating year, and the student must be enrolled by December following graduation from high school. Download Application

Eligibility Requirements

  • Enroll in our Cosmetology Program by December 2020.
  • Maintain 85% or above in both attendance and grade average.
  • Not receive any suspensions throughout their course.
  • Use the scholarship towards their tuition only.
  • The scholarship is applied at the final checkpoint of SAP.

2020 Summit Salon Business Center Scholarship

Summit Salon Business Center will award up to $15,000 in 2020 to students currently enrolled or considering enrollment at all Summit Salon Academy locations. Summit Salon Business Center Board will award scholarships using a point system to score each application.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Student Applicants = 90% GPA and Attendance
  • Prospective Students = 90% GPA on the High School Transcript.
  • This scholarship is also open to High School Seniors who meet the requirements before enrollment.
  • Summit Salon Business Center or Summit Salon Academy employees or family members are not eligible.

Scholarship Details

  • Applications are due April 30 and October 30, 2020.
  • Up to 5 scholarships will be awarded on both May 15 and November 13, 2020.

Beauty Changes Lives is a nonprofit driven to make the beauty profession a first-choice career by empowering individuals with mentorship, inspiration & scholarships. BCL empowers the next generation of beauty professionals with the education & expertise to realize their full potential — & the full potential of the beauty industry. Beauty Changes Lives works with leaders across specialties to sponsor scholarships, foster mentorships & provide the stage on which to showcase our individual & industry impact.

The Great Scholarship Program

The Great Clips brand is proud to partner with schools to shape and change lives in the cosmetology industry. Great Clips provides over $100,000 in scholarships and professional tools to cosmetology students each year! The scholarship award and professional tools are valued between $250 – $1,500. The sign-up period for the 2019 – 2020 Great Scholarship Event begins September 1st.

Beauty Schools Directory $2,500 Cosmetology Scholarship

Future students of the beauty disciplines – including cosmetology, barbering, esthetics and skin care, nail technology, makeup artistry, and several others – can apply for these $2,500 scholarships for cosmetology school. This beauty school scholarship is awarded four times per year and may be used at most schools nationwide. The scholarship recipient is selected from the pool of individuals who submit their scholarship applications before the deadline each quarter and meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the rules.  Deadlines: January 31, April 30, July 31 and October 31 each year.

The Joe Francis Haircare Scholarship Foundation

The Joe Francis Haircare Scholarship Foundation was established in 1994 by his wife of 39 years, Flo Francis, and the many people whom Joe Francis advised and mentored to their own success in the industry. The mission of the foundation is to help deserving students receive financial assistance for the professional training necessary to build successful, long-term careers in the cosmetology industry. Applications are accepted January 1st through June 1st each year.

Rosy Rewards $10,000 Scholarship Program

Rosy Salon and Spa Software is passionate about the salon and spa industry and wants to reward others who are as well. This Rosy Rewards $10,000 Scholarship Program is designed to give future salon professionals an opportunity to further their education by providing funds to help cover a portion of their tuition.

Buy-Rite Beauty $1,000 Scholarship Program

Buy-Rite Beauty has always made a point to promote the hairstylist, cosmetology & beauty industry as a growing career field. From working directly with local salons to donating products to beauty schools, supporting the industry has always been a staple of our business. Buy-Rite Beauty will be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a hairstylist or cosmetology student who best exemplifies our core beliefs. We want to hear about their most meaningful achievement and how it relates to your future as a hairstylist

Keller Cosmetology Scholarship

Keller International now offers a unique cosmetology scholarship opportunity for one student each year as a way to alleviate some of the financial burdens they accrue during their educational journey. The winner of this contest will be rewarded $1,000 towards their tuition fees!* This scholarship is open to cosmetology and barber students.
